The Buffalo Bills’ down-to-the-wire 22-20 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers in the Peacock Holiday Exclusive delivered primetime’s largest audience last Saturday against all other programming.

The Peacock Holiday Exclusive – Peacock’s first exclusive NFL game – reached 9.9 million total viewers. The game peaked at an average of 8.4 million viewers from 10:45-11 p.m. ET during Peacock’s presentation of the NFL’s first-ever commercial-free fourth quarter, according to Nielsen official data.

“Peacock and NBC Sports successfully delivered the streaming service’s first-ever exclusive NFL game with the innovative commercial-free fourth quarter,” said NBC Sports President Rick Cordella. “Winning the night in primetime is a strong sign heading into our upcoming Peacock exclusive NFL Wild Card playoff game on Jan. 13.”

Across Peacock, NBC stations in Los Angeles and Buffalo, and NFL+, Saturday’s Peacock Holiday Exclusive (8:05-11 p.m. ET) averaged 7.3 million viewers based on Nielsen official data.

Bills-Chargers delivered a 38.5/66 local rating/share on WGRZ (NBC Buffalo) and a 6.9/27 on KNBC (NBC Los Angeles).

In less than three weeks, Peacock will be home to the first-ever exclusive live streamed NFL Playoff game in primetime on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024.
